Hello

Somewhere along the way, "normal life" started meaning tracked life — every purchase logged, every click sold, every convenience quietly billed to your privacy and your self-reliance. The Untracked Life is my small rebellion against that.

There's a nice double meaning in the name. A track is what follows you around and records where you've been — and it's also the worn, crowded path everyone's expected to walk. This is about stepping off both: the road less traveled and the one nobody's monitoring. It's for people who'd rather own their data than rent their lives back from it, and who suspect the beaten path isn't the only way through.

I write and talk about digital privacy, homesteading, self-sufficiency, and level-headed prepping — the practical, unglamorous skills that make you a little freer and a little harder to knock over. You won't find my face anywhere on here (I'm a private person, and it seemed hypocritical to build a privacy project on my own oversharing). What you will find is honest, hands-on guidance in plain language, with enough humor to keep it human. Fittingly, this whole site runs on tooling I built myself to host content without spying on the people reading it — a story I'll be telling early on.

The road less traveled is quieter, harder, and a lot more yours.

Grab a coffee and leave your tracking cookies at the door.
